October - the most wonderful time of the year
I love it when seasons change. I love the anticipation of springtime, the long days of summer, and the cold nights of winter.
But most of all, I love autumn. Why? Because all of my favorite sports are taking center stage.
The baseball playoffs are starting up, frozen pucks are being dropped on rinks across the country, college football is in full swing, and NBA training camps are getting underway.
And, of course, college basketball is warming up in the bullpen…
As a sports fan, there is nothing better than October. And I believe a few of my friends here at b5media would agree with me.
If you’re looking for the lowdown on the baseball playoffs, check out Geoff Young’s blog at www.knucklecurve.com. Perhaps you want to find out if the Anaheim Ducks are going to repeat as NHL champs. For all your hockey news, go to Jeanne Dupuis’ blog at www.hockeybeat.com.
Who is the true #1 college football team in the land: LSU or USC? Check out Allison Boyer’s college football blog at www.bcsfrenzy.com to get her take on the BCS landscape. Finally, if you’re dying to know how the revamped Celtics will do with Kevin Garnett on board, may I recommend James Edwards’ blog at www.nbaobsessed.com.
With all due respect to Andy Williams, I believe that October is the most wonderful time of the year.

I totally agree - there’s nothing better than that chill in the air and that excitement for the weekend football games!
