Good injury news for Clemson’s Mays
It is never good news when a player goes down with an injury, but Clemson basketball fans were happy with the news on star forward James Mays’ injury.
Originally, it was feared that Mays had fractured his hip, but it turns out that it is only sprained. Instead of being out 4-6 weeks, Mays could be back on the court sometime in mid December.
Mays is averaging 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds for the 18th ranked Tigers who are 6-0 this season. The Tigers will desperately need Mays’ inside presence and scoring as they enter conference play.
