We’re now down to the Final Four. Here are my thoughts from today’s games:
- As somebody who has been skeptical of Memphis all season long, that may have changed tonight. Texas is an excellent basketball team, and for the Tigers to take them to the woodshed like they did speaks volumes. Memphis is one of, […]

Well, we witnessed two impressive performances tonight - UCLA made Xavier look rather pedestrian, which is hard to do. North Carolina showed why they are the prohibitive favorite to win the tournament as they dispatched of a red-hot Louisville squad.
I’m still waiting for a team to really push UCLA to the limit. Xavier was able […]

The Friday night games are winding down, and here are my thoughts on today’s action:
- Even though the game is far from over, I want to extend my congratulations to the Michigan State Spartans for laying the biggest egg of the tournament thus far. Extremely disappointing effort by the Spartans.
- Very convincing win by Texas […]

The Vols disclosed that leading scorer Chris Lofton has a minor leg injury but should be able to play against Louisville on Thursday.
There is bad timing, and then there is having your leading scorer injured during the NCAA tournament.
Tennessee […]

I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but what did I tell you earlier today about not trusting Georgetown?
I love it when my gut instinct is right.
Onto more thoughts from today’s action:
- If anybody doubted that North Carolina was the prohibitive favorite to win the championship, they shouldn’t doubt that now. All of […]

First off, I hope everybody has a great Easter today.
Now, on to the early thoughts from Day 4 of the NCAA tournament.
- Anybody who doesn’t think that Texas is vulnerable should think again. Yes, they are a #2 seed, but they are definitely beatable. Same goes for #2 seed Tennessee, and their game with Butler […]
